As a Receiving Clerk, you will be a critical part of our operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of incoming goods. Your day will involve everything from unloading shipments and verifying contents against purchase orders to organizing stock and preparing items for storage or distribution. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments for accuracy, quantity, and quality against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Document discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately and report them to the appropriate supervisor.
- Efficiently sort, label, and stage incoming materials for storage or further distribution.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks) after proper training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area, adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and participate in cycle counting as required.
- Collaborate effectively with warehouse, purchasing, and other internal teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Utilize inventory management systems and scanning technology to accurately record goods received.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
