Job Description
Oceana Group Limited is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Receptionist to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. As the first point of contact for our prestigious corporate office, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all visitors, clients, and employees. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome visitors, clients, and employees to the Oceana Group office, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls efficiently and taking accurate messages.
- Maintain a tidy, organised, and professional reception area at all times.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and package deliveries.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meeting rooms, ensuring they are prepared and cleared.
- Provide administrative support to various departments, including data entry, filing, scanning, and document preparation.
- Manage office supply inventory and place orders as needed.
- Assist in organising company events and internal meetings.
- Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring the visitor logbook, and issuing visitor passes.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders in a courteous and informative manner.
- Process expense reports and petty cash reconciliation as required.
- Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties to support office operations.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proven experience in a reception or administrative support role.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
