Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a wide range of audio recording, mixing, and mastering equipment.
- Set up microphones, monitor levels, and ensure optimal sound capture during recording sessions.
- Perform audio editing, mixing, and mastering to deliver high-quality final productions.
- Collaborate with artists, producers, and clients to understand their vision and translate it into sonic reality.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with studio equipment and software to minimize downtime.
- Implement best practices for audio signal flow, acoustics, and data management.
- Archive and organize audio files and projects efficiently.
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and software updates to enhance production capabilities.
- Contribute to the creative direction and technical execution of diverse audio projects.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, or Ableton Live.
- Strong understanding of audio signal processing, acoustics, and microphone techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in multitrack recording, mixing, and mastering.
- Familiarity with various audio hardware, including consoles, preamps, and outboard gear.
- Excellent ear for detail, critical listening skills, and sound aesthetic.
- Ability to troubleshoot audio equipment and software issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.
- Problem-solving aptitude and ability to work under pressure.
- Minimum 2 years of professional recording engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Audio Engineering, Music Production, or a related field.
