Key Responsibilities
- Supervise recreational facilities and activities to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all users.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and dismantling of equipment for various sports and leisure programmes.
- Monitor facility cleanliness and perform routine checks to maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering queries, handling bookings, and processing payments efficiently.
- Respond effectively to incidents, accidents, and emergencies, administering first aid where necessary and completing relevant documentation.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations consistently to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Support the delivery of organised recreational events, classes, and community programmes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive work atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a positive, helpful attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety principles, or willingness to undertake training.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a leisure, recreation, or customer service environment.
- First Aid at Work certification.
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or similar relevant safety certifications.
- Experience working with diverse age groups and abilities.
- Relevant sports coaching or activity leadership qualifications.
