Key Responsibilities
- Assist camp leaders and supervisors in the planning and execution of daily camp activities, including games, sports, arts and crafts, and outdoor play.
- Supervise campers during various activities, ensuring their safety and adherence to camp rules and guidelines.
- Actively engage with children, fostering a positive, inclusive, and fun environment for all participants.
- Help set up and take down equipment and materials for activities.
- Provide basic first aid and attend to minor injuries, escalating serious concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor for campers, promoting good sportsmanship and teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Assist with general camp operations, including maintaining cleanliness and organization of facilities and supplies.
- Adapt to changing schedules and unexpected situations with a positive and flexible attitude.
