Key Responsibilities
- Manage the comprehensive, end-to-end recruitment process, from initial job requisition creation and strategic sourcing to offer management and successful candidate onboarding for various roles within the organization.
- Collaborate effectively with hiring managers to gain a deep understanding of departmental staffing needs, develop accurate and compelling job descriptions, and formulate highly effective, tailored recruitment strategies.
- Proactively source and attract top-tier candidates using a diverse array of channels, including leading job boards, professional social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn), industry-specific networks, and robust internal referral programs.
- Conduct thorough initial screenings, competency-based interviews, and precise assessments to meticulously evaluate candidate qualifications, relevant experience, technical skills, and essential cultural fit.
- Efficiently coordinate interview schedules, provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates, and maintain clear, consistent communication throughout every stage of the hiring process.
- Ensure strict adherence and compliance with all relevant organizational recruitment policies, established procedures, and applicable Kenyan labor laws and employment regulations.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and meticulously up-to-date candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Actively participate in employer branding initiatives, university career fairs, and industry events to enhance Safarilink Aviation's visibility and attract a pipeline of top talent.
- Prepare and present insightful recruitment reports, including key metrics such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, candidate pipeline status, and diversity statistics.
- Assist with crucial pre-boarding and onboarding activities to ensure a smooth, welcoming, and productive transition for all new hires, facilitating their integration into the Safarilink family.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressively responsible and proven experience in a corporate recruitment role, preferably within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong understanding of modern recruitment best practices, advanced sourcing techniques, and robust candidate assessment methodologies.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
- Proficiency in utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) software.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple requisitions concurrently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and a steadfast commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate Diploma or recognized certification in Human Resources Management (e.g., CHRP Kenya).
- Direct experience recruiting within the aviation, travel, or hospitality industry sectors.
- In-depth familiarity with Kenyan labor laws, employment regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in data analytics and generating insightful recruitment performance reports.
