Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals in delivering comprehensive patient care.
  • Support patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and feeding.
  • Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) accurately and report any abnormalities.
  • Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Help with patient documentation, ensuring accurate and timely entry of observations and care provided.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, fostering a comforting and positive environment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
  • Respond promptly to patient calls and requests, ensuring immediate needs are addressed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
