Key Responsibilities
- Assist Registered Nurses with patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff promptly.
- Help patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment.
- Assist with basic wound care and non-sterile dressing changes as instructed by the RN.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Document care provided and patient observations accurately and promptly.
