Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualised rehabilitation programs under the guidance of therapists and senior staff.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Encourage and support clients in performing therapeutic exercises and engaging in meaningful activities.
  • Monitor and accurately record client progress, observations, and any changes in condition, reporting promptly to the care team.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive, safe, and engaging environment for clients.
  • Support clients with community integration, participation in social activities, and accessing local amenities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documentation, and care plans.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety policies, safeguarding procedures, and professional boundaries.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically with clients, their families, and multidisciplinary team members.

  • Basic First Aid and Manual Handling certification.
  • Knowledge of rehabilitation principles or an understanding of conditions affecting individuals requiring support (e.g., stroke, spinal injury, mental health conditions).
  • Proficiency in an additional language relevant to the diverse London community.
