As a Reliability Engineer at Career.zycto, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing asset performance and minimizing downtime. You’ll be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs, conducting thorough root cause analyses (RCA) for equipment failures, and leveraging advanced data analytics to predict and prevent future issues. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) programs to enhance equipment uptime and efficiency.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for significant equipment failures, recommending and tracking corrective actions.
  • Perform FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) on new and existing systems to identify potential failure points and mitigate risks.
  • Monitor equipment performance trends, identify potential issues, and forecast future reliability challenges using statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to integrate reliability principles into product development and process improvements.
  • Manage and analyze maintenance data to identify areas for improvement and support asset management strategies.
  • Develop and maintain reliability metrics, KPIs, and reporting dashboards to track performance and communicate insights.
  • Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to implement reliability improvement projects.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory requirements related to reliability engineering.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel on reliability best practices.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Reliability Engineering role within a manufacturing, industrial, or technology environment.
  • Proven experience with Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and techniques for reliability data.
  • Strong understanding of FMEA, FMECA, and other reliability analysis methods.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) software.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • CMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies (e.g., vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis).
  • Proficiency in German (B2 level or higher) to facilitate communication with local teams.
  • Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with industry-specific reliability standards (e.g., ISO 55000).
