This unique opportunity allows you to contribute to cutting-edge projects from the comfort of your home office, playing a pivotal role in the development and deployment of mission-critical systems that define the future.

In this role, you will be instrumental in elevating the quality and reliability of our diverse software applications. You will work within an agile development environment, collaborating closely with software engineers, quality assurance specialists, and product managers across various teams. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement robust automated test scripts and frameworks that can efficiently validate complex functionalities, performance, and security aspects of our systems. This isn’t just about finding bugs; it’s about building resilient testing solutions that integrate seamlessly into our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, enabling rapid and reliable software releases.

You will be expected to leverage your expertise in various testing methodologies and tools, including but not limited to, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar web and desktop application automation frameworks. Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured, and a solid understanding of performance testing principles, will be highly valued. We are looking for someone who can not only write effective test code in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C# but also contribute to the architectural design of scalable and maintainable test automation solutions. Your analytical skills will be crucial in interpreting test results, pinpointing root causes of defects, and providing clear, actionable feedback to development teams.

Beyond the technical aspects, this position requires a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative setting. You will participate actively in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. Lockheed Martin values continuous learning and professional growth, offering extensive resources and opportunities to expand your skills and stay at the forefront of automation testing technologies. Join us in shaping the future of advanced technology, where your contributions ensure the integrity and reliability of systems that protect and connect our world.
