Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of server-side logic, databases, and APIs under the guidance of senior developers.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to company standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality and learn new techniques.
- Help debug and resolve technical issues, contributing to the overall stability and performance of our backend systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (front-end, QA, product) to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
- Actively engage in learning new technologies, frameworks, and development methodologies.
- Contribute to documentation of backend processes, APIs, and system architecture.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of a backend programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, Ruby, Go, C#)
- Basic knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and database design principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Understanding of fundamental web concepts (HTTP, RESTful APIs).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and an eagerness to learn.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience/bootcamp completion).
