Your day-to-day will involve a diverse range of analytical challenges. From building sophisticated data models to developing interactive dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators, your work will be central to our strategic planning and execution. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to business performance, customer behaviour, and market dynamics.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to provide key stakeholders with actionable information.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance) to understand their analytical needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Design and implement A/B tests and other experimental designs to evaluate the impact of new initiatives and product features.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and respond to urgent business questions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by working closely with data engineering teams and implementing robust validation processes.
- Continuously research and apply best practices in data analysis, visualisation, and reporting.
- Contribute to the development of data strategy and analytics capabilities within the organisation.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Insights Analyst or similar data-focused role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Expertise in using at least one major Business Intelligence tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) for dashboard creation and reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, complex formulas).
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modelling techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote environment.
- Demonstrable business acumen with the ability to understand business objectives and translate them into analytical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Business Analytics.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python or R for data analysis and statistical modelling.
- Experience in the SaaS or FinTech industry.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
