Job Description
Are you a visionary Client Experience Designer passionate about crafting intuitive and impactful digital journeys? Fidelity International is seeking a talented and driven Remote Client Experience Designer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the end-to-end digital experience for our diverse client base, from individual investors to institutional partners. As a Remote Client Experience Designer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and other design professionals to identify client pain points, understand their needs, and translate complex financial concepts into simple, elegant, and user-friendly interfaces. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and iterating on digital solutions that enhance client satisfaction, engagement, and retention across our web and mobile platforms. Your work will directly influence critical client interactions, ensuring a seamless and delightful journey at every touchpoint. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to uncover client needs, behaviors, and motivations.
- Translate research findings into actionable insights, user personas, journey maps, and information architecture.
- Design and prototype intuitive, engaging, and accessible user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to define requirements, provide design specifications, and ensure successful implementation of designs.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analytics, and business objectives in an agile development cycle.
- Champion a client-centric design culture within the organization, advocating for the user throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design, and contribute to the evolution of our design system.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, client experience design, or a similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working within the financial services industry or other highly regulated sectors.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
