Key Responsibilities
- Lead the discovery, assessment, planning, and execution phases of cloud migration projects for clients.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Conduct detailed technical assessments of existing client infrastructure and applications to identify migration strategies.
- Develop comprehensive migration plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and adoption.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud governance, cost optimization, security best practices, and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during migration processes.
- Stay abreast of the latest cloud technologies, services, and industry trends to provide cutting-edge solutions.
- Document migration procedures, architectural designs, and operational runbooks.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the consultancy.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in leading and executing large-scale cloud migration projects.
- Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
- Proficiency with cloud migration tools and methodologies.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and data protection in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and client-facing consulting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates).
