Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This crucial role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and administering our compensation programs, ensuring they are competitive, fair, and aligned with our organizational strategy and goals. As a Remote Compensation Analyst, you will play a vital part in attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent by ensuring our compensation structures reflect market trends, internal equity, and business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market pricing and competitive analysis using various compensation surveys to ensure salary ranges and total compensation packages remain competitive.
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of base pay structures, incentive plans, and other compensation programs.
- Administer annual compensation processes, including merit reviews, bonus payouts, and long-term incentive programs.
- Analyze compensation data, create reports, and present findings to HR leadership and business partners to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compensation programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations, including FLSA and EEO.
- Collaborate with HR business partners and recruiters to provide guidance on job evaluations, salary recommendations, and offer letter generation.
- Manage and maintain compensation data within the HRIS, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and deliver compensation-related training and communication materials to employees and managers.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in compensation analysis or a related HR analytical role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Solid understanding of compensation principles, job evaluation methodologies, and market pricing.
- Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and compensation survey data.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
- Experience with Workday or similar enterprise HRIS.
- Experience in the financial services or banking industry.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
