Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Compliance Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in ensuring Intuit’s adherence to a complex landscape of regulatory requirements across our innovative products and services. As a Remote Compliance Analyst, you will play a pivotal part in safeguarding our reputation, mitigating risks, and upholding the trust our customers place in us. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of compliance principles, an investigative mindset, and excellent communication skills. You will work cross-functionally with legal, product, engineering, and operations teams to embed compliance by design, identify potential risks, and develop robust solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive compliance reviews and risk assessments of Intuit's products, services, and internal processes.
- Monitor changes in regulatory landscapes (e.g., financial regulations, data privacy, consumer protection) and assess their impact on Intuit's operations, particularly for our US-based offerings.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and training materials.
- Collaborate with legal counsel, product management, and engineering teams to ensure new features and products are compliant from inception.
- Investigate and respond to compliance inquiries, alerts, and potential breaches.
- Prepare detailed reports on compliance findings, recommendations, and status updates for management.
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization through effective communication and training initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging compliance technologies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or audit role within the financial services or technology industry.
- Strong understanding of U.S. financial regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, OFAC, PCI DSS, FCRA, GLBA) and data privacy laws (e.g., CCPA).
- Proven ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to business operations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex compliance concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote work environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CAMS, CCEP, FINRA Series licenses).
- Experience with compliance management software and tools.
- Prior experience working in a remote or distributed team setting.
- Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR) is a plus.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms and SaaS compliance.
