Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated Remote Confluence Admin Assistant to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our documentation and knowledge management efforts, primarily focused on administering and enhancing our Confluence instance.

As a Remote Confluence Admin Assistant, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity, accessibility, and user-friendliness of our Confluence spaces. Your daily tasks will involve everything from user management and space permissions to creating templates, optimizing content structures, and providing essential support to our diverse user base. We are looking for a proactive individual who can anticipate needs, troubleshoot issues efficiently, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our internal communication and documentation standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Career.zycto's Confluence instance, including user management, permissions, and space configurations.
  • Develop and implement Confluence best practices, guidelines, and templates to enhance user experience and content consistency.
  • Provide technical support and training to users on Confluence functionalities, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Monitor Confluence health, performance, and storage, implementing optimizations as needed.
  • Assist in migrating content, creating new spaces, and organizing existing documentation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and team leads to ensure Confluence effectively supports project workflows and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain documentation standards and ensure adherence to company policies for information governance.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and integration with other tools to improve efficiency.
  • Regularly review and audit Confluence content for accuracy, relevance, and archival needs.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Confluence Administrator or power user in a professional setting.
  • Strong understanding of Confluence features, macros, and space configuration.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage self-discipline.
  • Familiarity with documentation best practices and knowledge management principles.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to issue resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with Jira or other Atlassian products.
  • Certification in Atlassian Confluence Administration.
  • Familiarity with Markdown or basic HTML for content formatting.
  • Experience in an IT consulting or project-based environment.
  • Prior experience supporting remote teams.
