Job Description
Are you a passionate educator with a flair for curriculum design and a deep understanding of effective pedagogical practices? Do you thrive in a creative, remote environment, eager to shape the future of learning for millions? Twinkl is seeking a talented and dedicated Remote Curriculum Developer to join our dynamic UK team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in subject matter and instructional design to create innovative, high-quality educational resources that empower educators and captivate learners across the United Kingdom.
As a Remote Curriculum Developer, you will be at the forefront of developing engaging and curriculum-aligned content, from initial concept to final publication. You’ll work collaboratively with a diverse team of content writers, editors, illustrators, and designers, ensuring our resources meet the highest standards of educational excellence and user experience. Your work will directly impact children’s learning journeys and support the incredible work of teachers in classrooms and homes nationwide. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of the National Curriculum (or relevant UK curricula like Scottish CfE, Welsh AoLE), and a creative approach to problem-solving. You will be instrumental in identifying gaps in our current offerings, conceptualising new resource types, and developing comprehensive learning sequences that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
We are looking for someone who is not only proficient in curriculum theory but also possesses the practical skills to translate educational objectives into tangible, inspiring learning materials. This includes developing lesson plans, activity sheets, interactive resources, and assessment tools. Your ability to adapt to new educational technologies and collaborate effectively with a dispersed team will be key to your success. If you are driven by a desire to make a tangible difference in education and are comfortable working autonomously while remaining a vital part of a supportive team, we encourage you to apply. Join Twinkl and help us continue to inspire a love of learning across the UK and beyond, from your base in Camberley, Surrey, or anywhere else within the UK.
