Job Description

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote DevOps Engineer to join our innovative and agile technology team. This critical full-time role will empower you to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure and automated CI/CD pipelines for our enterprise applications and systems. As a key member of our remote team, you will collaborate closely with software development, quality assurance, and IT operations teams to evangelize and implement best practices in automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code. You will be instrumental in deploying and managing applications across various cloud environments, leveraging containerization and orchestration technologies to optimize performance and resource utilization. Your responsibilities will span the entire software development lifecycle, from initial architecture discussions to ongoing monitoring and incident response, ensuring the stability and efficiency of our digital ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployment processes.
  • Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (primarily Azure, with potential for AWS/GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates.
  • Implement and manage containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) for scalable application deployment.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system health, performance, and security.
  • Automate operational tasks and system configurations to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate new features and services, ensuring adherence to DevOps best practices and architectural standards.
  • Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for infrastructure and application issues.
  • Ensure security best practices are embedded throughout the entire software development lifecycle and infrastructure management.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and strategic planning for cloud and DevOps initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
  • Extensive experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Proficiency in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Demonstrated expertise with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Azure Monitor).
  • Strong grasp of networking concepts, security principles, and system administration for Linux and Windows environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional).
  • Experience with serverless computing architectures (e.g., Azure Functions, AWS Lambda).
  • Familiarity with database administration and optimization (SQL, NoSQL databases).
  • Proven experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment, ideally in manufacturing or automotive.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and API management.
