Key Responsibilities

  • Diligently monitor and moderate user-generated product reviews, ratings, and Q&A submissions across OK Zimbabwe's e-commerce platform.
  • Ensure all moderated content strictly adheres to company guidelines, terms of service, and legal compliance standards.
  • Proactively identify and remove spam, inappropriate language, personal identifiable information, fraudulent claims, or misleading content.
  • Categorize and accurately tag reviews for internal analysis and escalate complex or sensitive issues to relevant departments (e.g., customer service, product management) for further action.
  • Provide constructive feedback and insights on recurring review themes or emerging customer issues to improve product offerings and service delivery.
  • Maintain a consistently high level of accuracy, efficiency, and consistency in all moderation tasks.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of moderation guidelines, policies, and internal tools.
  • Work autonomously and efficiently in a remote setting while maintaining regular, clear communication with the digital team and supervisors.
  • Stay informed about e-commerce trends, online community best practices, and relevant platform updates.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using web browsers, online communication tools, and various web-based applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms, online community dynamics, and user-generated content principles.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a conducive, distraction-free home office setup.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6+ months) in content moderation, online community management, or customer service.
  • Familiarity with OK Zimbabwe's product categories, retail operations, or the broader Zimbabwean retail sector.
  • Experience using moderation software, content management systems (CMS), or customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • A diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field.
