In this full-time role, you will be the frontline support for our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system users, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our vital business processes. As a Remote ERP Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing timely and effective resolution to ERP-related inquiries and issues. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills to diagnose problems, guide users, and maintain robust system performance. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support for all ERP system users, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to system functionality, data integrity, and user access.
- Monitor ERP system performance and health, proactively identifying potential issues and implementing preventive measures.
- Assist in the testing and deployment of ERP system updates, patches, and new modules.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and support procedures.
- Conduct user training sessions and create training materials to enhance user proficiency and adoption of ERP functionalities.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams, system administrators, and third-party vendors to escalate and resolve complex ERP issues.
- Support data migration activities and ensure data accuracy within the ERP system.
- Participate in ERP system improvement projects, offering insights and technical expertise.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience providing support for a major ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle EBS, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor).
- Strong understanding of core ERP modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR).
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications in relevant ERP systems (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate).
- Familiarity with SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Experience in the medical device or manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and practices.
