Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis to support budgeting cycles and strategic planning.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
- Analyze financial data and operational results to identify areas for improvement, cost savings, and revenue generation.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with various business units to gather financial information, understand business drivers, and provide financial insights.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by management, providing data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data, maintaining robust financial controls and processes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems, tools, and processes.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a remote work setting.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis software (e.g., GL systems, ERP).
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or CFA certification, or actively pursuing one.
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Finance.
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
