Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary remote point of contact for patient inquiries, providing empathetic and accurate information regarding services, appointments, and general healthcare questions.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars for healthcare professionals, and handle rescheduling requests efficiently.
- Process and verify patient demographic and insurance information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data entry protocols.
- Assist with medical record management, including filing, retrieving, and updating patient charts in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Facilitate communication between patients, physicians, and other healthcare staff, relaying messages and ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chat communications with professionalism and a patient-centric approach.
- Resolve patient issues and concerns promptly, escalating complex situations to appropriate personnel when necessary.
