Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inventory analysis, identifying trends, forecasting demand, and proactively addressing potential shortages or overstock situations.
  • Collaborate with procurement to manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Work closely with production planning to align inventory with manufacturing schedules and capacity.
  • Optimize storage utilization and layout for maximum efficiency within our distribution network.
  • Implement and manage inventory management systems (ERP/WMS) to track stock movements accurately.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Generate comprehensive inventory reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives by minimizing waste, obsolescence, and carrying costs.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards related to inventory handling.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Proven experience with ERP or WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across diverse teams remotely.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
