Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Monitor inventory levels for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory analysis, identifying trends, forecasting demand, and proactively addressing potential shortages or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with procurement to manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Work closely with production planning to align inventory with manufacturing schedules and capacity.
- Optimize storage utilization and layout for maximum efficiency within our distribution network.
- Implement and manage inventory management systems (ERP/WMS) to track stock movements accurately.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Generate comprehensive inventory reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives by minimizing waste, obsolescence, and carrying costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards related to inventory handling.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory management or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven experience with ERP or WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across diverse teams remotely.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
