Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-tier technical support to end-users via phone, email, chat, and remote desktop tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various systems and platforms.
  • Document all support activities, resolutions, and technical procedures in our ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff on more complex issues and infrastructure projects.
  • Proactively identify recurring issues and contribute to developing long-term solutions.
  • Educate users on best practices for IT security and efficient system usage.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (O365, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Service Now).
  • Solid understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues logically and efficiently.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL Foundation).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting or other automation tools.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android).
