Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues via remote access, chat, email, and phone.
- Diagnose and resolve common IT problems, including operating system errors, application malfunctions, email configuration, and peripheral device connectivity.
- Guide users through step-by-step solutions and provide clear, concise instructions to resolve technical difficulties.
- Document all support interactions, resolutions, and relevant information accurately in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level IT support teams when necessary.
- Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive knowledge base for common technical solutions and FAQs.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues to prevent disruptions.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with new technologies and best practices.
- Ensure data security and compliance with company policies during all support activities.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in IT technical support or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with remote desktop software and ticketing systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
