Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement visually appealing, responsive, and brand-compliant layouts for all digital newsletters.
- Format text, images, and other multimedia elements to ensure optimal readability and engagement across various email clients and devices.
- Collaborate with content creators to understand messaging goals and translate them into effective visual designs.
- Ensure strict adherence to World Vision Kenya's brand guidelines, including color palettes, typography, imagery, and overall aesthetic.
- Manage and maintain a library of newsletter templates, ensuring they are up-to-date and optimized for performance.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on all newsletter drafts, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and visual integrity before deployment.
- Optimize images and other assets for web and email performance, balancing quality with loading speed.
- Stay updated on email marketing best practices, design trends, and technical advancements to continuously improve newsletter effectiveness.
- Provide design insights and recommendations to enhance newsletter engagement and subscriber experience.
- Assist in A/B testing various layout and formatting elements to identify optimal performance strategies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles for email.
- Expertise in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS specifically for email development.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and typography.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
