Job Description
United Way of Denton County is actively seeking a highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Remote Nonprofit Operations professional to join our dynamic and mission-driven team. This full-time role is absolutely critical to ensuring the seamless, efficient, and effective functioning of our organization’s diverse programs and essential administrative processes, directly supporting our unwavering mission to improve lives and strengthen communities across the entirety of Denton County. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and refine operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- Oversee and manage administrative functions, including record-keeping, database management, and virtual office support.
- Coordinate cross-departmental projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and adherence to organizational objectives.
- Provide comprehensive support for various programs, including logistics, volunteer coordination, and resource allocation.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality of services.
- Assist with budget monitoring and financial reporting in collaboration with the finance department.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal organizational policies.
- Facilitate internal communications and information flow among remote teams.
- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on operational performance and project status.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to optimize workflow.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in nonprofit operations or a similar administrative/project management role.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom).
