Key Responsibilities
- Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans virtually.
- Guide clients through therapeutic exercises and activities via secure video conferencing.
- Educate clients and their families on adaptive equipment, compensatory strategies, and home modifications to enhance independence.
- Monitor client progress, document observations, and report feedback to supervising OTs.
- Prepare educational materials and resources for clients on various health and wellness topics.
- Schedule virtual appointments and manage client records with meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Participate in virtual team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development sessions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in occupational therapy and telehealth technologies.
- Provide administrative support, including documentation and coordination of care, as directed by the supervising OT.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
