Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans virtually.
  • Guide clients through therapeutic exercises and activities via secure video conferencing.
  • Educate clients and their families on adaptive equipment, compensatory strategies, and home modifications to enhance independence.
  • Monitor client progress, document observations, and report feedback to supervising OTs.
  • Prepare educational materials and resources for clients on various health and wellness topics.
  • Schedule virtual appointments and manage client records with meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development sessions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in occupational therapy and telehealth technologies.
  • Provide administrative support, including documentation and coordination of care, as directed by the supervising OT.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
