Job Description
Econet Wireless Zimbabwe is actively seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Remote Onboarding Checklist Creator to join our Human Resources and Operations team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and continuously refining comprehensive onboarding checklists and procedural guides for various roles and departments within our dynamic organization. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including HR specialists, hiring managers, IT support, and department leads, to understand their specific needs and translate complex internal processes into clear, user-friendly, and actionable steps. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and regularly update comprehensive onboarding checklists and workflows for various roles and departments, ensuring they are clear, user-friendly, and culturally relevant.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, IT, and department heads to gather requirements and integrate key information into the onboarding process.
- Research and implement best practices in remote and in-person onboarding to continuously enhance the new hire experience.
- Ensure all checklists comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
- Develop supporting documentation, guides, and resources to accompany the onboarding checklists.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements within the onboarding process.
- Gather feedback from new hires and stakeholders to iterate and improve existing onboarding materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all onboarding documentation and processes.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in process design, documentation, or project coordination.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with a keen eye for detail and clarity.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, particularly in a remote work setting.
- Proficiency with digital collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, project management software).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with a flexible schedule.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing needs.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or an equivalent role focused on employee experience.
- Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS) or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Experience working in a large, fast-paced organization, preferably in the telecommunications or tech industry.
- Understanding of the unique challenges and best practices for remote employee onboarding.
- Previous experience creating engaging training materials or guides.
