Diebold Nixdorf is seeking a dedicated Remote People Operations Associate to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This crucial role is instrumental in ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience for our global workforce, even from the comfort of your home office in the Canton, Ohio area. As a Remote People Operations Associate, you will be a central point of contact for employee inquiries, manage essential HR data, support HR program implementation, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our people-centric operations. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the initial point of contact for general employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee data in HRIS (Human Resources Information System), ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding new hires, processing changes, and assisting with offboarding procedures.
- Assist with the administration of various HR programs, such as performance management, talent development, and compensation reviews.
- Prepare and generate various HR reports and analyses as requested by HR leadership and business partners.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, company policies, and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Collaborate with other People Operations team members on continuous improvement initiatives for HR processes and systems.
- Support the coordination of virtual company-wide HR events and communications.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a Human Resources or People Operations support role.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a remote environment.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while also contributing effectively to a virtual team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with Workday HRIS system.
- Familiarity with remote work best practices and communication tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
- Certifications such as SHRM-CP or HRCI-PHR.
- Experience in a global or multi-national company setting.
