Econet Wireless Zimbabwe is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Product Testing Coordinator to join our innovative team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in overseeing the entire product testing lifecycle for our diverse portfolio of digital services and applications, working remotely from Chiredzi, Masvingo Province.
As a Remote Product Testing Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring testing activities to guarantee that our products meet stringent quality standards before deployment. You will collaborate closely with product development teams, software engineers, and quality assurance specialists to identify bugs, report issues, and ensure a seamless user experience. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing digital products and features.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of product testing cycles, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and QA engineers to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
- Identify, document, and track software bugs and anomalies using issue tracking systems, ensuring timely resolution.
- Provide regular updates and detailed reports on testing progress, issues, and overall product quality to stakeholders.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of remote product testers, ensuring they adhere to testing protocols and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, product testing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
- Proficiency with issue tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, TestRail).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Exceptional organizational and project coordination abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with mobile application testing (iOS/Android) and web technologies.
- Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB).
