Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain robust and scalable backend services and APIs using Python.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, scope, and implement new features and enhancements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and architectural patterns.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and infrastructure.
- Document technical designs, APIs, and system functionalities for future reference and team knowledge sharing.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying relevant knowledge to projects.
- Work effectively within an Agile/Scrum development methodology.
Required Skills
- 4+ years of professional experience in Python development.
- Proficiency with Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
- Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM technologies.
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and services.
- Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with asynchronous programming and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
