Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases (manual and automated) for new features and existing functionalities.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs using defect tracking systems, ensuring clear and concise reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other QA team members to understand requirements, define test strategies, and ensure successful product delivery.
  • Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, actively contributing to team discussions.
  • Verify bug fixes and ensure that issues are resolved according to specifications and without introducing new regressions.
  • Provide clear and concise communication regarding testing progress, results, and potential risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the product and its intended user experience.
  • Work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a QA Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Bugzilla).
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Familiarity with various testing types (functional, regression, integration, UAT).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency with modern web browsers and mobile platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Experience testing APIs (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
  • Knowledge of SQL for database testing.
  • ISTQB certification.
