Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Re-engagement Campaign Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, executing, and optimizing strategies to rekindle the interest and loyalty of our inactive customer segments across various Econet services. This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to work from your preferred location within Mutare, Manicaland Province, while collaborating closely with our central marketing and customer experience teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of customer lifecycle management, digital marketing channels, and data-driven decision-making. You will be responsible for analyzing customer behavior, identifying churn predictors, and crafting compelling campaigns that encourage dormant users to reactivate their services, explore new offerings, and deepen their engagement with the Econet brand. This role demands creativity, analytical rigor, and excellent communication skills to articulate campaign objectives, results, and insights effectively. You will be a key contributor to our customer retention efforts, directly impacting business growth and customer lifetime value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive re-engagement strategies and campaigns targeting inactive customer segments across various product lines (e.g., voice, data, ecoCash).
  • Analyze customer data to identify patterns of disengagement, churn triggers, and opportunities for re-activation.
  • Design and A/B test campaign creatives, messaging, and channels (email, SMS, in-app notifications, social media, push notifications) to maximize effectiveness.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, reactivation rates) and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and customer service teams to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless customer experience.
  • Manage campaign timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to achieve targets.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends in customer re-engagement, and competitor activities.
  • Document campaign processes, learnings, and best practices for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Proactively identify and recommend new tools or technologies to enhance re-engagement efforts.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, particularly with re-engagement, retention, or lifecycle marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Mailchimp).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling copy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and optimization techniques.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
