Vodacom Lesotho is seeking a dedicated Remote Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team, operating from the vibrant community of Ha Makhalanyane, Thaba-Tseka. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base, driving sales of Vodacom products and services, and building lasting relationships within your assigned territory, all while working remotely with a flexible schedule that empowers your work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities for Vodacom products and services within the Ha Makhalanyane, Thaba-Tseka area and surrounding communities.
  • Engage with potential customers through various remote channels (phone, digital platforms) and in-person where appropriate and safe, to understand their communication needs.
  • Present and demonstrate Vodacom’s range of mobile, data, and digital solutions, ensuring clear understanding of features and benefits.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for new subscriptions, upgrades, and value-added services.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting with inquiries, issue resolution, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new Vodacom product launches.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in sales and customer engagement.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the telecommunications or related industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong self-motivation, discipline, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Goal-oriented with a demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using digital communication tools and basic CRM software.
  • Reliable access to a stable internet connection and a suitable remote workspace.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule and manage time effectively.
  • Fluency in Sesotho and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working remotely or in a field-based sales role.
  • Familiarity with the Ha Makhalanyane, Thaba-Tseka community and local market dynamics.
  • Experience with Vodacom products and services.
