Job Description

Join Kaiser Permanente as a Remote Salesforce Administrator and play a critical role in optimizing our enterprise-level Salesforce platform to support our vast network and diverse operational needs. In this fully remote position, based out of Anaheim, California, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and maintenance of our Salesforce environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the platform is stable, scalable, and effectively supports our strategic goals, enhancing user experience and operational efficiency across various departments, from patient engagement to internal business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of Salesforce administration, including user setup, profiles, roles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security settings.
  • Manage and maintain Salesforce data, including data quality, de-duplication, and migration using various tools.
  • Design, configure, and implement custom objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, record types, reports, and dashboards.
  • Develop and maintain complex workflows, process builders, and flows to automate business processes.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing issues and enhancing user adoption.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity and system security.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases and new features, evaluating and implementing relevant updates.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides.
  • Assist in the integration of Salesforce with other internal systems and third-party applications.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator in an enterprise environment.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201).
  • Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, including security settings, custom objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, and process builders.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, data models, and security structures.
  • Experience with data management and migration tools (e.g., Data Loader, Workbench).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification (ADM 211) or other advanced Salesforce certifications.
  • Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud, or Community Cloud.
  • Familiarity with Apex, Visualforce, or Lightning Web Components for basic troubleshooting or understanding.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or highly regulated industry.
  • Project management skills and experience managing Salesforce projects from conception to deployment.
