Haberman is seeking a highly skilled and independent Remote Shopify Expert on a freelance basis to support our diverse client portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing Shopify stores, ensuring they are not only visually stunning but also highly functional, user-friendly, and conversion-optimized. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes and stores using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Implement and configure Shopify apps and third-party integrations to enhance store functionality.
- Optimize Shopify store performance, speed, and responsiveness across various devices.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into functional Shopify pages.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and implement best practices for Shopify stores.
- Troubleshoot and resolve front-end and back-end issues related to the Shopify platform.
- Provide expert guidance and recommendations on Shopify best practices, new features, and e-commerce strategies.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and adherence to web standards.
- Manage project timelines and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify updates, tools, and industry trends.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience in Shopify theme development and customization.
- Proficiency in Liquid templating language.
- Strong command of HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with Shopify API (Storefront, Admin, REST, GraphQL).
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
