Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) in implementing therapy programs and interventions virtually.
  • Prepare, organize, and manage digital and physical therapy materials and resources.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date patient records, progress notes, and administrative documentation.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, families, and caregivers under SLT supervision.
  • Support the technical setup and smooth operation of virtual therapy sessions, troubleshoot minor technical issues.
  • Conduct administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing referrals, and handling inquiries.
  • Monitor and report on patient progress and engagement to supervising SLTs, highlighting any observations.
  • Adhere strictly to all confidentiality, safeguarding, and data protection guidelines (e.g., GDPR).
  • Actively participate in remote team meetings, supervision sessions, and continuous professional development training.

Required Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with virtual communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and basic office software (MS Office Suite).
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote setting, demonstrating initiative.
