Key Responsibilities

- Ensure consistent terminology, voice, and tone across all documentation sets.
- Collaborate with technical writers, engineers, and product managers to clarify technical concepts and ensure factual correctness.
- Provide constructive feedback to authors, helping them improve their writing skills and align with editorial standards.
- Develop and maintain internal style guides, glossaries, and editorial checklists.
- Identify opportunities for structural and organizational improvements in documentation to enhance user experience.
- Verify the completeness and logical flow of information within documents.
- Participate in peer reviews and content strategy discussions.
- Stay current with industry best practices in technical communication and editing tools.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in technical editing, preferably within the software or technology industry.
- Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, syntax, punctuation, and style.
- Proven ability to edit complex technical content for diverse audiences (developers, end-users, administrators).
- Strong understanding of documentation authoring tools and content management systems (e.g., Markdown, XML, Confluence, Zendesk).
