Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and book domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and visas, adhering to company travel policies and budget guidelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for travelers, providing timely assistance, travel advice, and support for changes, cancellations, or emergencies.
- Research and present cost-effective travel options, negotiating with vendors to secure favorable rates and terms.
- Maintain accurate travel records, process expense reports, and reconcile invoices for all booked travel.
- Stay informed about global travel advisories, visa requirements, and health and safety regulations to ensure traveler compliance and well-being.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and other service providers.
- Prepare detailed itineraries and travel packages, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided to travelers.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Travel Coordinator, Travel Agent, or similar role (minimum 2 years).
- Proficiency with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo, or robust online booking tools.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Solid understanding of international travel regulations, visas, and customs procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification from a recognized travel industry association (e.g., CTA, CTC).
- Experience with corporate travel management software.
