Key Responsibilities
- Assist Senior UI/UX Designers in conducting user research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
- Develop wireframes, storyboards, user flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes for various digital platforms (web, mobile, desktop) using industry-standard tools.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all products.
- Support the preparation of design assets for development teams, ensuring all specifications are clear and accurate.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback, iterating on designs based on user feedback and team input.
- Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices, bringing fresh perspectives to the team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Foundational understanding of UI/UX principles, user-centered design methodologies, and information architecture.
- Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail, typography, color, and layout.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a remote team environment.
- Ability to articulate design decisions and rationale clearly.
- Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML/CSS) is a plus.
- A portfolio demonstrating design projects (academic or personal is acceptable for assistant level).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in UI/UX design, even if through internships or personal projects.
