Job Description
Are you a meticulous observer with a passion for understanding user behavior and an eagle eye for usability flaws? Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and self-motivated Remote UX Tester to join our distributed team. In this pivotal role, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring our digital products are intuitive, delightful, and highly effective for users worldwide. Working remotely, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your testing processes, from planning and execution to analysis and reporting, all while collaborating closely with our cross-functional product, design, and development teams. Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive remote user testing sessions, including moderated and unmoderated studies, usability tests, and concept validation.
- Develop detailed test plans, scripts, and success metrics for various product features and iterations.
- Recruit, screen, and manage a diverse pool of participants for user studies.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to identify usability issues, user pain points, and areas for improvement.
- Create clear, concise, and actionable reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and software engineers to translate user insights into practical design solutions.
- Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring a user-centric approach in all stages.
- Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and methodologies in UX research and testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and documentation.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of professional experience in UX research, usability testing, or a similar role.
- Proven proficiency with user testing platforms (e.g., UserTesting, Lookback, Maze) and survey tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and uncover actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Solid understanding of UX design principles, human-computer interaction, and user-centered design methodologies.
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Design, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
- A portfolio demonstrating previous UX research and testing projects.
- Familiarity with A/B testing and multivariate testing techniques.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
