As a Remote UX/UI Designer, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user behaviors and needs.
- Translate user research findings, business requirements, and technical constraints into intuitive user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Design high-fidelity user interfaces (UI) that are aesthetically pleasing, consistent, and adhere to brand guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Present and articulate design decisions to team members and stakeholders, incorporating feedback iteratively.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all products.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.
- Perform A/B testing and analyze user data to continually optimize and improve user experiences.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of UX/UI projects, demonstrating strong visual design skills and user-centered design principles.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles, information architecture, and usability best practices.
- Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, and interpreting data.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Experience with motion graphics and animation for UI elements.
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better understand technical constraints.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG).
