Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly creative, detail-oriented, and technically proficient Remote Video Editor to join our rapidly growing and geographically dispersed team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping our brand’s visual identity and storytelling across various digital platforms. You will transform raw footage into compelling, polished, and engaging video content that resonates with our target audience, drives engagement, and effectively communicates our mission and values.
As a Remote Video Editor, you will be responsible for the entire post-production workflow, from initial concept discussion and script review to final delivery. This includes importing and organizing media, assembling rough cuts, performing detailed edits, color correction and grading, sound design and mixing, motion graphics integration, and ensuring all content adheres to our brand guidelines and technical specifications. You’ll work on diverse projects ranging from promotional campaigns, social media snippets, educational tutorials, client testimonials, and internal communications, each requiring a unique creative approach.
This role demands not only technical mastery of industry-standard editing software but also a keen eye for visual aesthetics, pacing, and narrative flow. You should be a self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines in a remote work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality video content for various digital platforms (website, social media, marketing campaigns, etc.).
- Apply advanced video editing techniques, including cuts, transitions, effects, and motion graphics, to enhance visual storytelling.
- Perform color correction and grading to achieve a consistent and visually appealing aesthetic.
- Implement sound design, audio mixing, and select appropriate music and sound effects to complement video narratives.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and design teams to understand project requirements and creative briefs.
- Manage and organize media assets, ensuring efficient workflow and version control.
- Review and incorporate feedback from stakeholders, iterating on edits to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines, technical specifications, and legal requirements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in video editing and digital media.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to video production and post-production.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition.
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, compression, and delivery for various platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives through visual editing.
