Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end planning, development, and execution of all virtual events, including webinars, conferences, fundraising galas, and recognition ceremonies.
  • Select, manage, and optimize virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom Events, Microsoft Teams, Hopin, Eventbrite) to ensure a high-quality user experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, fundraising, programs) to define event objectives, target audiences, content, and promotional strategies.
  • Develop detailed event timelines, budgets, and project plans, ensuring all deadlines and financial targets are met.
  • Coordinate with speakers, presenters, special guests, and technical support to ensure smooth delivery of content during live virtual sessions.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee all logistical elements related to virtual event production.
  • Implement strategies for audience engagement, interactive elements, and post-event follow-up to maximize attendee satisfaction and participation.
  • Conduct post-event analysis, compile comprehensive reports on event performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting during live virtual events to ensure a seamless experience for all participants.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in virtual event planning and management.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with various virtual event platforms and digital collaboration tools.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously from conception to completion.
  • Strong budgetary acumen and experience with vendor negotiation and contract management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
