As our Remote Webinar Production Assistant, you will play a crucial part in managing the technical and logistical aspects of our webinars. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating closely with presenters, marketing teams, and content creators to ensure all assets are prepared, platforms are configured correctly, and live events run without a hitch. This includes everything from setting up registration pages and managing attendee data to troubleshooting technical issues during live broadcasts and assisting with post-production tasks like editing and archiving. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage all technical aspects of live and pre-recorded webinars using various platforms (e.g., Zoom Webinar, GoToWebinar, Webex).
  • Assist presenters with technical setup, platform navigation, and best practices for virtual presentations.
  • Configure webinar settings, including registration pages, email communications, polls, Q&A, and breakout rooms.
  • Conduct pre-event tech checks with presenters and panelists to ensure audio/video quality and connectivity.
  • Provide real-time technical support during live webinars, including troubleshooting attendee issues and managing presentation flow.
  • Manage recordings, post-event editing, and archiving of webinar content for on-demand access.
  • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to ensure all visual assets (slides, videos, graphics) are correctly formatted and integrated.
  • Monitor webinar attendance, engagement, and provide post-event reports and analytics.
  • Stay updated with new webinar technologies and recommend improvements to our virtual event strategy.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with popular webinar platforms (e.g., Zoom Webinar, GoToWebinar, Webex)
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively under pressure
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, IT, or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience in a webinar production, event coordination, or technical support role
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp) for webinar promotion
  • Experience with live streaming software and equipment
  • Understanding of accessibility best practices for virtual events
