Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and servicing of solar PV and wind turbine systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues on renewable energy equipment.
- Conduct corrective maintenance and implement repairs to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
- Utilize specialized tools and diagnostic software to identify faults and analyze system data.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, industry regulations, and environmental standards.
- Prepare detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and inventory records.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide field feedback for system improvements and upgrades.
- Participate in the installation and commissioning of new renewable energy projects as required.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians or apprentices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Renewable Energy Technician or similar electrical/mechanical role.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and power electronics.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing faults in solar PV and/or wind turbine systems.
- Ability to work effectively at heights and in various outdoor weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Valid driver's license.
- Fluency in English (German language skills a plus).
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Technology, or a related field.
