Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate daily care activities, ensuring all residents receive appropriate support and attention.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents' families, providing updates and addressing concerns with sensitivity.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Support and mentor care staff, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to resident admissions, discharges, and ongoing care management.
  • Promote resident independence, dignity, and choice in all aspects of care delivery.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and continuous professional development.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Proficient in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a care setting, even in an unofficial capacity.
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualification.
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and best practices in residential care.
  • First Aid certification.
